Oconomowoc’s Arrowood subdivision is gearing up for another growth spurt, with Veridian Homes advancing a fifth phase that would slide 36 more single-family lots into an already sizable neighborhood plan of roughly 303 homes. The City Plan Commission signed off on the final plat on Wednesday, nudging the project one step closer to a final decision by the Common Council.

According to Veridian Homes, the new phase covers lots 133–168 and brings 36 additional buildable sites to Arrowood. Milwaukee Business Journal has also reported on the builder’s ongoing expansion at the Oconomowoc community, which Veridian is rolling out across multiple phases this year.

Plan commission sign-off and what is on file

City planning materials reviewed at the meeting show staff support for the final plat and reiterate that the preliminary plat for 303 dwelling units won approval in November 2021. Waukesha County has already issued its review approval. The City of Oconomowoc agenda packet notes that planning staff deemed the final plat complete on May 13 and recommended forwarding it to the Common Council for action, and the state’s plat database lists “Arrowood Phase 5” among recorded plats.

What buyers will see

Veridian markets Arrowood as tucked between Silver Lake and the Oconomowoc River, with access to local trails and nearby schools. The builder already has model and move-in homes operating in the neighborhood, and its move-in listings show homes currently available in Arrowood. Local brokerage listings, including a Shorewest property at 1206 Arrowood Circle West, point to active sales in the roughly $500,000 to $650,000 range.

If the Common Council follows the Plan Commission recommendation at its June 16 meeting, the city would have until July 12 to act on the plat before it becomes automatically approved under state timelines, according to city documents. For now, the Phase 5 release is expected to keep construction and sales moving through the summer as Veridian continues to build out Arrowood one phase at a time.
