The Audrey Restaurant & Bar, the Audrey Hepburn inspired spot that first took shape in The Woodlands, is making a move into Houston proper, with a second location headed to the Post Oak area this summer. The new outpost will span about 5,480 square feet on the ground floor of the Aspire Post Oak residential tower and will feature a private dining room that can seat roughly two dozen guests. Owner Omar Khan says the Uptown iteration will stick with the same classic American menu and craft cocktail lineup that helped the original build a following.

Design and the space

The Post Oak dining room is being created in collaboration with Denise Khan and Laura Loreman Interior Design Studio, aiming to blend Old Hollywood glam with a polished Uptown feel. According to Community Impact, the layout will include a semi-private lounge, a full bar and a private event room for around 24 people. That outlet also points to a $24 charcuterie board on the menu, loaded with cured meats, local cheeses and seasonal berries.

State records back up the scope of the project. Per the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the Post Oak build out is listed at 5,480 square feet, with the tenant address given as 1616 Post Oak Blvd, Suite 1A. The entry describes the work as an interior restaurant build out in an existing high rise and notes it as a privately funded renovation. Those details line up with the ground floor footprint shown in development plans for the Aspire Post Oak tower.

Menu and vibe

The Audrey’s Woodlands menu sticks to approachable, movie night friendly staples like spaghetti pomodoro, truffle mushroom ravioli and white chocolate bread pudding, and the new Uptown location is expected to carry those favorites along with a beefed up bar program. As reported by the Houston Chronicle, the Post Oak restaurant is set to serve lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Design details are slated to include brass accents and crystal chandeliers, with renderings showing a warm, midcentury modern dining room that leans into the Audrey Hepburn theme.

Why Post Oak

The move into Post Oak fits a broader effort to bring more street level restaurants and shops to the corridor, where developers carved out ground floor space at Aspire specifically for dining, according to Multi-Housing News. "Bringing The Audrey from The Woodlands to Houston is an exciting step for us," Khan said in a statement, per the Houston Business Journal. The Post Oak location will join a growing mix of Uptown dining options aimed at nearby residents, office workers and hotel guests.

The Audrey’s own site lists the Post Oak address with an "Opening Summer 2026" tag and encourages visitors to sign up for updates and future reservations. The Woodlands original remains open while the Uptown space is completed, and the company says it will share details on opening events and booking on its website as plans solidify.
