An Austin youth soccer coach is wanted on an active arrest warrant after an affidavit alleges he inappropriately touched a player on his team. The coach, 38-year-old Uriel Mora, is accused of indecency with a child by sexual contact, a second-degree felony, stemming from two incidents in August 2025, according to court papers. The affidavit states the family waited until November 2025 to report what happened.
As reported by KXAN, the affidavit alleges Mora touched the child on two separate dates in August and that a family member confronted him after the second incident. Court documents say Mora apologized during that confrontation and was removed from coaching, but he later returned in a volunteer role about three weeks afterward. According to the affidavit, the family delayed going to police because they feared they would not be believed.
Court records quoted in the affidavit show Mora told investigators “it was only an accident,” according to KXAN. The documents also state that an arrest warrant for Mora was active as of Friday.
