A Milwaukee police chase tied to an earlier bank robbery ended with a hard stop Monday afternoon, when the fleeing car slammed into a pole near Howell and Chase. Two people inside the vehicle were injured, taken to a hospital with non-fatal injuries and later arrested, police said.
MPD Says Officers Spotted The Car Near 26th And Lincoln
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, officers saw the vehicle around 3:25 p.m. near 26th and Lincoln and tried to pull it over. The driver refused to stop and a pursuit followed, ending when the car lost control and hit a pole near Howell and Chase. Police described the driver as a 43-year-old man and the passenger as a 40-year-old woman. Both were taken to a hospital for treatment and arrested afterward.
