Ian’s Pizza is doubling down on Milwaukee. Over the weekend, the company announced plans for a new production facility on the northwest edge of Bay View, complete with a walk-up slice window for folks who want their pizza hot, not frozen.
The spot will primarily crank out the chain’s frozen “Ian’s Pizza Anywhere” line, supplying grocery and retail outlets, while a small front counter will serve slices to-go. The setup adds another Ian’s footprint to the Milwaukee area and gives the brand an on-site production kitchen geared toward wider distribution.
As reported by Milwaukee Record, Ian’s shared the news on social media and pinpointed the Bay View location as the R1VER apartment complex at 210 W. Becher St. The company described the new space as a production hub for frozen pizzas with “a small restaurant available in front for slices to-go.”
Production kitchen and jobs
Local job postings connected to the project show hiring underway for production-line workers, pizza cooks, front-of-house staff and supervisors. Listings on Job Today put pay in the range of $16 to $18 per hour and indicate the kitchen is slated to open in June or July 2026, with shifts tailored to a high-volume frozen-pizza operation.

R1VER at 210 W. Becher St. is a mixed-use complex on Bay View’s northwest edge, according to LoopNet, making it a practical spot for a production kitchen serving nearby retailers and other outlets. The addition gives Ian’s a neighborhood presence along with a local manufacturing base to help supply grocery shelves and catering orders.
Ian’s traces its roots back to Madison in 2001 and currently lists eight restaurants across Madison, Milwaukee, Cedar Rapids and Verona, per the company site. If all goes as planned, this Bay View project will mark the chain’s fourth Milwaukee location.
