Pecan Jacks Ice Cream & Candy Kitchen has officially rolled into Texas City, bringing a new scoop-and-sweets stop to the Commons at Lago Mar. After a brief soft opening earlier this month, the family-friendly shop is now fully up and running, serving handmade ice creams, candy by the jar and ready-to-gift treats as it joins the brand’s growing roster of regional locations.
According to Community Impact, the Texas City franchise marked its grand opening on June 20 following that earlier soft launch. The outlet reports the shop is scooping more than 40 flavors, including over 11 alcohol-infused options, and turning out handcrafted candies such as Caribbean rum and bourbon pralines.

The Lago Mar lineup leans into both kid-friendly and grown-up tastes. Pecan Jacks lists nonalcoholic flavors like Banana Pudding and Blueberry Lavender alongside adult-oriented scoops such as Piña Colada, Limoncello and Kahlua Espresso. The same source highlights handmade pralines, brittle and gourmet chocolates, plus a rewards program aimed at regulars who plan to make this a repeat stop.

The new store is located at 3336 Crystal View Blvd., Suite 140, inside the Commons at Lago Mar. The registration lists roughly a 1,500-square-foot build-out, with work filed in January and completed in March, according to those records.
