A Bronx family tragedy that stunned a Concourse Village apartment building has ended with a 17-year prison sentence for the surviving brother, prosecutors said.
According to court records, 43-year-old Jayson Dargan pleaded guilty to manslaughter on May 8 in the killing of his older brother, 44-year-old Timothy Dargan. The victim was found stuffed inside a black garbage bag in the brothers' Concourse Village apartment in October 2023, per PIX11.
Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark called the killing "in cold blood" and said the crime had ripped the Dargan family apart, according to PIX11.

Investigators say Dargan placed a bowling ball inside a black garbage bag and struck his brother multiple times in the head as he slept, killing him, then hid the body under a bed.
