The sold-out show at the Ryman Auditorium on Monday delivered surprise guests and a high-energy live auction, helping push the event's lifetime haul past $6.2 million.
According to WZTV, the 17th annual concert, along with the following day's celebrity golf outing, raised the $1.1 million total and lifted the all-time fundraising past $6.2 million. The station reports that Rucker was joined onstage by Jason Aldean, Lauren Alaina, Carter Faith, Randy Houser, and Mark Wills, and that a guitar signed by the night's performers went for $20,000 in a live auction. "Every year it amazes me how quick my friends are to say 'yes' to joining us here at the Ryman," Rucker told the crowd, per the report.
A Long-Running Ryman Tradition
Over the years, Rucker's benefit has settled in as a staple of CMA Fest week, with the Ryman listing the show on its calendar and underscoring its place in Nashville's summer music circuit. As detailed by Ryman Auditorium, the "Darius and Friends" concert has brought in millions for charity over nearly two decades. Last year's edition set the previous single-year record with more than $815,000, which helped push the total into the five million range before this year's jump, according to Nashville.com.

The fundraising carried on well after the last encore. The celebrity golf tournament and additional donation rounds added to the tally by bringing together artists, athletes, and fans on the course. Money from events like this backs St. Jude's model, where "no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food," as described by St. Jude.
Rucker's long-running commitment to St. Jude has already earned industry recognition, as he received the CMA Foundation Humanitarian Award in 2023, noted by the CMA Foundation. The 2026 total further secures the concert's status in Music City's charitable calendar and hands the Memphis hospital another sizable boost to fund research and free care for patients and families.
