
A 37-year-old man was shot and killed Tuesday near N. 13th Street and W. Atkinson Avenue on Milwaukee’s north side, where first responders pronounced him dead at the scene and officers quickly locked down the area.
According to WISN, investigators found the man in the street and ran crime-scene tape across the front of Dhillon Food and Liquor while they processed evidence. The outlet reports that no arrests have been made as homicide detectives continue their work.

The shooting unfolded outside Dhillon Food and Liquor, which city licensing records list at 1301 W. Atkinson Ave., at the corner of N. 13th and W. Atkinson, according to Milwaukee Legistar. The block, on the city’s north side, was secured by officers while they collected evidence.
