Where The Crash Happened
Troopers said the wreck took place near the 14193 block of U.S. 1, a stretch lined with a mix of homes and businesses where cars are frequently turning in and out of driveways. Those access points can make left turns particularly risky. The injured driver was taken to HCA Florida Memorial Hospital, which lists its main campus at 3625 University Blvd S in Jacksonville.
Investigation
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash and plans to release a full report once the inquiry is finished. Anyone with information about the collision was asked to contact FHP, according to News4JAX.
