Travelers hustling through Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport now have a new reason to linger by the B gates. Raising Cane’s opened its first airport outpost at DFW yesterday, setting up inside Terminal B at Gate B19. The airside counter is serving the chain’s signature chicken-finger meals with crinkle cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw and Cane’s sauce, and a Raising Cane’s representative told local reporters the location will move to a 24/7 schedule starting June 22.
Where to find it
As reported by Community Impact, the new Terminal B unit sits at Gate B19 (2141 S. International Parkway, Terminal B) and is described in a company release as the brand’s first airport location. The outlet also notes that the spot is serving Cane’s standard combos and that construction work on the space began late last year.
Part of DFW’s concessions push
DFW Airport says the opening is part of its broader DFW Forward modernization effort, which is adding gates and new dining choices across terminals. In a newsroom release, DFW Executive Vice President Ken Buchanan said the newly approved concessions are intended to deliver local, memorable options to customers as the airport expands its gates and amenities.
How it was built
Project records filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation show the Raising Cane’s tenant fit out at DFW as a roughly 3,030 square foot interior buildout with a listed start date of Nov. 1, 2025 and a reported completion date of April 23. MySA previously flagged the TDLR filing when the address and timeline details appeared in public records.
What travelers should expect
Because the restaurant is located past security on the airside concourse, the round-the-clock hours will be especially useful for passengers on very early or very late flights. The arrival of Raising Cane’s follows a string of airport firsts at DFW, including Portillo’s in Terminal B, as the airport leans on recognizable grab-and-go brands to serve a growing schedule of passenger traffic.
