Swingers Las Vegas inside Mandalay Bay is about to play a very different kind of late-night round. The crazy-golf club is rolling out “Swingers After Dark,” a weekly Friday series headlined by DJ Franzen that starts June 12. From 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., the adults-only program will flip the venue into a nightclub, pairing live DJ sets with bottle service, street-food vendors and the spot’s retro carnival arcade. Entry is set at $15, and the series is open to guests 21 and over.
According to FOX5, the experience was developed with DJ Franzen and TWN Media and will feature rotating DJs, plus appearances by musical artists and guest DJs throughout the summer. The outlet reports that guests can lock in VIP table and bottle-service packages, and that golf and Carnival access can be added to the night for anyone who wants to take a break from the dance floor and pick up a putter.
The Space: Golf, Carnival and Cocktails
Mandalay Bay’s flagship Swingers location covers roughly 40,000 square feet and is styled like an English estate, with four themed crazy-golf courses, a retro Carnival arcade and multiple bars, according to MGM Resorts. MGM notes that the Sunken Garden and Estate Bar spaces include DJ booths and private rooms, and that the layout is designed so staff can blend gameplay, food and cocktails in a way that converts smoothly into an after-hours club setup.
DJ Franzen and the Playlist
DJ Franzen, a veteran Strip DJ known for hip-hop and R&B, will anchor the Friday nights. He is bringing the same catalog that powers his resident sets at venues across the Strip, including Hakkasan and other nightclubs, according to listings on VegasNearMe. His steady presence is meant to give Swingers After Dark a true club headliner, not just a soundtrack for people working on their short game.
Food, Cover and VIP Options
Food during After Dark will include street-style items from Emmy Squared Pizza, which operates a Swingers outpost inside the venue and serves Detroit-style pies and burgers, per the restaurant and venue pages. FOX5 reports that general admission is $15, the event is 21-plus, and VIP tables and bottle service are available for groups that want a full club-style night out in the middle of a mini-golf course.
Why the Strip Cares
MGM has framed Swingers as a flagship entertainment concept that mixes games, cocktails and music into an alternative nightlife option for the Strip, a strategy the company first laid out when it opened the Las Vegas location in 2024. Turning a mostly daytime or early-evening attraction into a late-night business gives the resort another way to keep guests on property and capture more of the after-hours crowd, the company has argued in past announcements.
When to Go and How to Book
Swingers After Dark launches Friday, June 12, with Friday-night sessions running from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Reservations, tickets and VIP inquiries are available through the venue’s Las Vegas page. For the latest schedules and to reserve a table, visit Swingers before you head to Mandalay Bay.
