The deal, done through a holding company, pads the retired star's growing Dallas-Fort Worth real estate portfolio in one of the region's most buttoned-up neighborhoods and follows a recent run of local transactions tied to the same entity. Aldridge, who grew up in Dallas, has kept a steady footprint across North Texas for years.
According to the deed, Jay & Ray LLC bought 1609 Meandering Way Drive from Larry and Maria Smith on June 9. State records list Aldridge as the sole member of the LLC, as reported by The Real Deal. That same company name appears on title records around North Texas, indicating Aldridge has been using it to quietly acquire and manage homes across the area.

The Westlake spread, completed in 2023, comes in at about 10,466 square feet on roughly 1.05 acres. Listing details highlight a six-car garage, an outdoor kitchen, and a private basketball court, along with its address in the Estates of Quail Hollow, a gated pocket close to Vaquero Country Club. The sellers initially floated the property at $10.9 million when it hit the market last August, and Zillow shows it was listed at $10 million when it went under contract. The final sale price has not been disclosed, The Real Deal reports. Based on the original ask, the listing penciled out to roughly $955 per square foot, using the math cited in coverage of the sale.

Aldridge, a Dallas native who logged six seasons with the San Antonio Spurs beginning in 2015, has been an active player in North Texas real estate, public records show. He has bought and sold multiple properties across the region, often working through LLCs.
