Pizzeria Sei, the tiny but red-hot Pico-Robertson pizzeria that already draws serious lines, is packing up its pies and heading to Beverly Hills for a limited summer cameo at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles. For four Tuesdays beginning July 7, the hotel’s Culina garden patio will host Pizza & Wine Nights featuring chef William Joo’s Tokyo-influenced Neapolitan pies, giving fans a rare chance to skip the cramped counter and still score a seat.
The series runs on four consecutive Tuesday nights starting July 7 and will showcase Sei signatures, including the Margherita, Riviera, Patate, and the spicy Mala Garden, along with a vegan Napoletana and an exclusive Culina x Sei White Capricciosa. Culina will handle seasonal appetizers and an Italian wine lineup, while executive pastry chef Riccardo Menicucci closes things out with a dessert pizza loaded with Sicilian pistachios, roasted cherries and dark chocolate. Those pop-up details were reported by Los Angeles Magazine.
Pizzeria Sei tied for No. 2 on the 50 Top Pizza USA list released May 27, a ranking that has only cranked up demand for its already scarce seats, according to Pizza Today. The shop is also known for its rotating $150 “omakasei” tasting and a tight counter with very limited seating; Time Out has documented just how competitive those ticket drops can get.
What to Expect at Culina's Garden
At Culina, expect a more polished patio setup than Sei’s usual elbow-to-elbow counter experience. Culina executive chef Jesus Medina will handle the seasonal sides while Sei zeroes in on pies pulled from a wood-fired oven, aiming for the same puffy, chewy crust that made the original a hit. Four Seasons lists Medina as Culina’s executive chef, and the hotel has outlined the pop-up menu and dessert plans, according to Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
Sei Expands to Palms
The Beverly Hills pop-up lines up with Pizzeria Sei’s move into a larger Palms location at 10700 Tabor Street, which is set to offer more dine-in and outdoor seating along with a broader menu. The plan also calls for turning the original Pico storefront into a takeout-focused Sei Pizza Bar, as reported by The Infatuation.
How to Reserve
Culina is taking reservations for the July Pizza & Wine Nights through the Four Seasons reservations desk and via OpenTable, and the four-night run is expected to book quickly. For available dates and bookings, check the restaurant’s profile on OpenTable or call the restaurant directly.
