Moncrief Road is about to get an infusion of homestyle cooking, courtesy of a tight-knit family crew with a serious brunch habit. 4T's Eatery, a family-run breakfast-and-brunch spot, is slated to open there in late June or early July, turning a popular pop-up into a permanent neighborhood fixture.
The concept is rooted firmly in family. The name 4T's nods to four relatives whose names all start with T, and the owners say the new storefront will keep the same menu and cozy vibe that won over regulars during their pop-up days.
As reported by WhatNow, the original Phoenix Eatery launched on Phoenix Avenue in 2023 and "quickly became a local favorite." Co-owner Torrey Jones told the outlet that the first run was meant as a test that "got a big turnout," convincing the team it was time to level up. Their Instagram announcement rolled out the new name and address, promising "New location. Same energy. Same flavor. Same love" and teasing a reopening in late June or early July.
Business Filing Signals Long-Term Plans
The shift from pop-up to full-fledged restaurant is not just talk. Business records show the move toward permanence is already underway: BISProfiles lists 4T'S EATERY LLC as incorporated earlier this year, with 6050 Moncrief Road as the principal address. The filing names Torrey Jones as the registered agent, matching the co-owner quoted in coverage. On paper, at least, it looks like the team is gearing up for staffing, permits and a longer stay in the neighborhood.
Menu And What To Expect
If you followed Phoenix Eatery the first time around, the menu should feel very familiar. Delivery listings for the original pop-up highlight hearty comfort fare, especially creative spins on chicken and waffles, including Fruity Pebbles and red-velvet versions that drew repeat orders. The Phoenix Eatery page on Uber Eats showcases those signature items, which are expected to make the jump to the 4T's Eatery lineup.
According to the owners, the larger Moncrief Road space will give them room for more seats and smoother service, while keeping family recipes at the center of the operation.
