True Texas Burgers quietly fired up the griddle last Thursday in north Frisco, taking over the Panther Creek Parkway storefront that until recently housed FieldsFresh. The quick-service counter is now turning out made-to-order burgers, melts, and hot dogs from Suite 400 at 5001 Panther Creek Parkway, a fast local pivot by the same crew that had been running the sandwich shop.
Opening confirmed by local reporting
The debut and menu were confirmed to Community Impact, which notes that True Texas Burgers is serving burgers, melts, and hot dogs from Suite 400 at 5001 Panther Creek Parkway. In a statement to the outlet, a company representative explained the concept switch from FieldsFresh, saying, “We learned quickly it just wasn’t the right fit for the market.”
Where it sits
The restaurant occupies a compact retail strip on Panther Creek Parkway near PGA Parkway and Preston Road. Merchant and delivery platforms already show True Texas Burgers at that address, including a live listing on Uber Eats that offers both pickup and delivery from the new spot.
From FieldsFresh to burgers
FieldsFresh had been the prior tenant in the same suite, and some directory and local listings still point to the sandwich shop at 5001 Panther Creek Parkway while the burger concept settles in. MapQuest continues to maintain a profile for FieldsFresh at that address, and Community Impact recently included the True Texas Burgers opening in a roundup of new north Frisco businesses, noting that the burger joint joins several other fresh arrivals along Panther Creek Parkway.
Menu, service and what to expect
Guests can expect a tight, fast-casual counter menu centered on burgers, melts, and shakes, with pickup and delivery available through major apps during daytime hours, according to the restaurant’s platform listings. The owners say the concept change is aimed at better matching what the neighborhood wants, and customers can check delivery pages for the latest hours and full menu details.
