Cross Creek West is beefing up its builder lineup in Fulshear, adding Coventry Homes and Ravenna Homes and promising fresh floor plans plus roomier lots inside the master-planned community. Coventry is focusing on 50-foot homesites with eight floor plans in the roughly 2,000 to 2,800 square foot range, with prices starting in the $450,000s. Ravenna is stepping in on 60-foot lots with 14 plans and prices beginning in the low $600,000s, with both builders expected to start presales in the third quarter and have model homes open around the end of the year.

Builders and model timelines
On Cross Creek West’s community site, Coventry and Ravenna now appear among the builders selling in the development, joining Perry, Highland, Newmark, Village Builders and Westin. According to the builders’ profiles, Ravenna brings a track record of higher-end production homes to the Houston area, while Coventry delivers a broader mid-market lineup that fits the community’s 45 to 60 foot lot mix. Buyers can expect the two newcomers to land in different price tiers, which should widen the menu of choices across lot widths, floor plan styles and finish levels.
Amenities, parks and schools
The developer has been steadily rolling out amenities. The Waterhole amenity complex is already open, and four new parks are slated to debut this summer, including The Links putting green and an 8,000 square foot off-leash dog area called Zoomies. “Both Coventry Homes and Ravenna Homes are known for their innovative floor plans and quality construction,” Stephen Brovarone, general manager for Cross Creek Ranch and Cross Creek West, said in comments reported by The Katy News. Johnson Development, the community’s builder and master planner since the 1970s, says Cross Creek West is planned for roughly 3,000 homes across about 1,250 acres, and Coventry and Ravenna will now be part of that long-term buildout as new amenities and schools continue to come online.
