A routine drive on a rural stretch of Greenwood Road turned tragic yesterday when a 64-year-old man was killed after a passenger van hit the small tractor he was operating in Ogemaw County.
The crash happened near Henderson Lake Road when a southbound 2014 Dodge Caravan, driven by an 83-year-old Prescott man, struck the Ford tractor, according to MLive. The impact threw the tractor operator from the vehicle, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers from the Michigan State Police West Branch post responded along with Ogemaw County EMS, the Mills Township Fire Department, and Ogemaw County sheriff's deputies, according to the Michigan State Police.
