Gunfire near an Elkton community pool on Thursday evening left a bystander injured, and town police are now asking residents to come forward with any information or video that might help crack the case.

According to Elkton police, shots rang out around 7 p.m. Thursday in the area of buildings 18 and 20 by the swimming pool in the Glenn Creek Circle community off Muddy Lane, and a bystander was hit. Anyone who saw what happened or has relevant video is asked to e-mail Cpl. G. Brown at [email protected] or submit a tip through the department’s website, as reported by WBAL.
