A 29-year-old man in the Charles North neighborhood was robbed at gunpoint Saturday evening, and his scooter was taken by three people who then fled east on North Avenue. The victim was not injured, and detectives canvassed the area for witnesses. The incident comes as city police have been tracking a series of scooter and moped thefts in parts of East Baltimore.
According to FOX45, three unknown suspects carried out the robbery in the unit block of W. North Avenue before heading east on North Avenue. FOX45 reports that citywide robbery detectives are handling the investigation and that authorities have not released any suspect descriptions.

As reported in coverage of an armed scooter carjacking in the 1700 block of W. North Avenue earlier this month, Baltimore Police asked the public for help in tracking down a suspect.
