Central Ohio favorite Harvest Pizzeria is getting ready to fire up its ovens in downtown Hilliard, adding another familiar local name to a suburban strip that has already seen a steady stream of new restaurant projects this year.
As reported by Columbus Business First, Harvest plans to open a restaurant in Hilliard. The outlet shared a photo of the chain's Dublin location but noted that details such as a firm opening date and exact address have not yet been released.
Harvest is operated by Grow Restaurants, the local group behind several Columbus concepts that have expanded around the region over the last decade. Columbus Underground has previously highlighted the company’s projects and its focus on locally sourced ingredients. The pizzeria also maintains a long-running Dublin outpost in Bridge Park, according to Step Out Columbus.
Hilliard's downtown is heating up
Harvest’s move into Hilliard comes on the heels of other dining news in the area, including Medley Kitchen, a new concept slated for the TruePointe development. Earlier this month, Columbus Business First reported on Medley Kitchen, pointing to a broader uptick in restaurant and mixed-use projects in and around downtown Hilliard.
What to expect
Harvest’s menu centers on wood-fired pizzas, sandwiches, and salads that draw from regional farms, paired with what is often a progressive bar program. Step Out Columbus describes the Dublin spot as a full-service restaurant with carryout options and a drink lineup built to play nicely with the pies.
For now, Columbus-area diners and Hilliard residents eager for specifics will have to keep an eye on local reporting and the brand’s own channels for the official opening date and address. This story will be updated as more details - including hours and a firm launch schedule - become available.
