Houston’s Heights just got a little sweeter. Wonder Pops, the neighborhood-born maker of real-fruit popsicles, quietly started serving from its first permanent walk-up window and patio on June 3. After years of pushing vintage carts through farmers markets and private events, the frozen-treats outfit now has a fixed Heights home where making and selling happen under the same roof.
New Heights Storefront And Production Hub
As reported by Community Impact, the new service window and patio sit at 428 West Cottage St. The Heights spot doubles as the production facility that supplies both the walk-up window and Wonder Pops’ vending carts. Founder Karla Rosa Garcia is planning a grand-opening bash that will also mark the brand’s fourth anniversary at the end of June.
Small-Batch Recipe And Seasonal Flavors
Wonder Pops bills its treats as all-natural pops made from cold-pressed juice, with no artificial colors or additives in the mix. The menu blends core and seasonal flavors, with standout combinations like Mango Basil and Pineapple Ginger Turmeric. Fans can track the brand’s farmers market pushcarts and flavor lineup on Wonder Pops.
Built From Farmers Markets
Founder Karla Rosa grew Wonder Pops out of farmers market booths and private catering gigs before committing to a permanent storefront. A profile in Voyage Houston notes she launched the business in 2022 and traces its neighborhood-first roots to the Heights Mercantile Farmers Market.
