Schedule, Music and Fireworks
Heritage Park opens to revelers at 6 p.m., with local favorite Mindy Miller kicking things off early and country veteran Collin Raye taking the top slot later in the night. Miller’s own listings show her hitting the stage at 6 p.m. at Heritage Park, according to Mindy Miller. Fireworks are scheduled to launch at 9 p.m., with the city planning to wrap the event by 9:30 p.m. Vendors are set to stop serving at 8:30 p.m., as noted by Vegas4Locals, so this is not a show you want to roll into late.
Know Before You Go: What to Bring and What to Leave
There is a long list of “nope” items for the evening. The city is asking guests to leave pets at home unless they are service animals, and to skip glass containers, alcohol, sparklers or any fireworks, weapons, smoking and vaping. Staking tents into the lawn is also off the table. On the allowed side, beach towels, blankets, folding chairs, coolers, picnic spreads and unstaked pop-up tents are all fair game. Tents need to be lowered by 8:45 p.m., according to City of Henderson, so everyone gets a clear shot of the sky when the show starts.
Getting There and On-Site Tips
Free parking will be available at Heritage Park, but officials are openly bracing for big crowds. With no shuttle service on tap, the city is nudging people toward carpooling, rideshares, walking or biking if possible. Vendors will close up at 8:30 p.m., and with the desert heat still in play, plan to arrive early, bring plenty of water and slather on sunscreen, per Vegas4Locals.
Family Notes
Families bringing kids should know that anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The city also recommends snapping a quick photo of your child when you arrive, just in case you get separated in the crowd. Guests should expect bag checks at the entrances, and no unauthorized soliciting is allowed on-site, according to City of Henderson.
