Four people have landed on the latest "Wanted Wednesday" lineup from East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers, after authorities flagged outstanding felony warrants in Knoxville tied to theft and computer-related offenses that investigators say top $25,000. The public alert lists each suspect by name and includes birth dates and physical descriptions. Crime Stoppers says tips are 100 percent anonymous and could bring in a reward of up to $2,000.
East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers posted the bulletin on its Facebook page on Wednesday, including photos and case numbers for the suspects. The post urges anyone with information to contact investigators instead of approaching the individuals themselves.

What the warrants allege
According to the bulletin, all four are wanted on outstanding felony warrants for theft and computer offenses that investigators say involve more than $25,000 in alleged losses. Crime Stoppers notes that the cases are wanted by the Knoxville Police Department. The listing also underscores that these are allegations and that the suspects are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in court.
What the charges mean
Under Tennessee law, theft is defined and graded based on the value of the property taken. The statute describing theft of property and how offenses are classified appears in Justia’s posting of T.C.A. § 39-14-103. Penalties for felony theft and certain computer or identity-related crimes vary with the amount involved and other factors set out in state law.
