Devante Deon Webb has agreed to plead guilty in a federal drug‑trafficking case tied to a Pinellas County investigation, according to court filings. The plea covers a charge of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine, along with a separate count of possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug‑trafficking crime. Those offenses carry statutory minimums of at least 10 years on the drug count and five years on the firearm count, and federal courts treat those terms as consecutive sentences.
Prosecutors say undercover buys produced tainted pills
According to WWSB, prosecutors say Webb supplied a distributor who sold counterfeit Adderall pills and cocaine to an undercover Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office detective on July 31, 2025. Laboratory testing later showed the pills contained methamphetamine. The plea agreement also describes a separate controlled buy on Sept. 9, 2025, in which pills were found to contain both fentanyl and methamphetamine.
DEA search recovered pills, powder and two handguns
Agents executed a federal search warrant at a Largo residence on Oct. 8, 2025, and prosecutors say they found methamphetamine pills and powder, fentanyl pills, pill‑making equipment and two firearms. Fake pills now carry a bigger risk
Counterfeit prescription pills sold as Adderall, oxycodone or other medications often contain fentanyl or methamphetamine, increasing the risk of a deadly overdose for anyone who buys pills on the street. What’s next in court
The plea agreement was filed June 16 in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida in Tampa, court records show, and no sentencing date has been announced. As part of the agreement, Webb agreed to forfeit two 9mm pistols listed in the filings, a move prosecutors say is tied to the drug and firearm counts.
