According to the department, the attack happened at approximately 2:17 a.m. last Friday, when two people walked up to the residence, fired into the house, then fled eastbound. Officers arrived to find multiple spent shell casings in front of the home and visible bullet damage to the garage door, front door, and parked vehicles. Investigators said people were inside during the shooting.
Fort Worth police shared surveillance images and details about the incident on their social feed, asking the public to help identify the suspects. The post notes that the South Division Criminal Investigations Unit is handling the case and that the department assigned incident report number 260043783. Police urged anyone with information to preserve any video or phone footage from overnight and report what they saw.
