Selda Doner & Gyro has quietly gone dark at Dal Rich Towne Square in Richardson, leaving a shuttered counter and one less quick Turkish fix for neighbors who relied on the spot for bowls, wraps and pita sandwiches. The shop no longer appears to be serving customers in person, and local coverage first flagged the closure on June 10, 2026.
As reported by Community Impact, the Richardson location sat at 101 S. Coit Road, Ste. 1 in Dal Rich Towne Square and operated under the Dallas-based Selda restaurant group. The outlet noted that the counter-service spot focused on Turkish street food, including doner bowls, wraps and pita sandwiches, before it closed.
Selda’s footprint in North Texas
According to Selda, Selda Doner is one of several concepts the group runs, alongside full-service restaurants and a bakery. D Magazine has detailed how the operation grew from a single neighborhood restaurant into multiple Dallas-area concepts, including locations in Frisco and San Antonio. The Richardson counter was part of that broader strategy to plant Selda-branded spots in suburban retail centers.
Where it was and what remains
The Dal Rich Towne Square directory still lists Selda Doner and Gyros at 101 S. Coit Rd., Suite 1, although those listings often lag behind real-world closures. Dal Rich Towne Square continues to show the unit in its online map, and Community Impact previously reported that a Selda Bakery opened next door in January and is still operating as a visible part of the center.
Delivery pages and next steps
Third-party delivery platforms tied to the Richardson address now list the restaurant as unavailable or temporarily closed, signaling that the kitchen is not turning out orders even behind the scenes. For instance, DoorDash shows the location as temporarily closed.
Selda’s own website still highlights other locations and contact details but does not include any public statement about the Richardson shop’s status. Meanwhile, property leasing contacts for Dal Rich Towne Square remain posted on the center’s site, ready in case the former doner space is officially put back on the market.
