Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea is gearing up to open a drive-thru-only spot on Honea Egypt Road, giving locals and commuters another way to grab lattes, cold brews and pastries without leaving the car. The new shop is slated to open in mid- to late July near FM 1488, right as fresh retail construction starts to fill in along the corridor.

Operator Heather Martin confirmed that the new Sweetwaters outpost at 923 Honea Egypt Road is expected to debut in mid- to late July and will operate strictly as a drive-thru, according to Community Impact. The sister location is set to pour from Sweetwaters’ classic cafe lineup, including the brand’s globally influenced coffee drinks.

For anyone who still wants a place to linger with their laptop, Sweetwaters’ Windcrest Village cafe at 9511 FM 1488 remains the local sit-down hub. The company lists that address, hours and full menu on its site, where the Magnolia page outlines a spread of espresso drinks, cold brews, specialty teas and a mix of pastries and sandwiches.
