
A 39-year-old man was found dead inside a minivan Monday evening in Cleveland’s North Collinwood neighborhood, turning a lakeside intersection into an active crime scene as detectives opened a homicide investigation.
Emergency medical crews and police responded, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say he had a gunshot wound and that the circumstances around the shooting remain under investigation.
According to 19 News, Cleveland EMS reported that crews were dispatched to the intersection of Lakeshore Boulevard and Neff Road at about 7:15 p.m. Cleveland police were also on scene, and the station said it had reached out to the Division of Police for more information.
