Chef Olivia Ostrow is taking her French-kosher chops off white tablecloths and into takeout bags with Maison Baguette, a new pickup-and-delivery sandwich operation built entirely around a house-baked baguette. The concept packs more than two dozen globally inspired sandwiches and chef-level technique into an everyday format aimed at hungry customers across South Florida. Maison Baguette runs out of her Maison Ostrow kitchen in North Bay Village and is already live through the brand's website and a dedicated mobile app.
As reported by Local 10, Ostrow, recently named "Best Chef in Miami" by Aventura Magazine, says she has long been "obsessed with a sandwich" and developed this baguette specifically with delivery in mind. Local 10 notes that the loaf took "five full months" to perfect and that she imported flour from several countries to nail the texture. The outlet also reports that Maison Baguette sells VIP meal boxes that bundle a sandwich with fries, a dessert, and a drink.
Menu and ordering
The Maison Baguette lineup features roughly 25 sandwiches that riff on dishes from Paris to Tel Aviv and North Africa, along with house-baguette flavors such as Nature, Provencale, Sun-Dried Tomato, and Harissa, according to QSR Magazine. Service runs out of Maison Ostrow and is available for pickup or delivery on major platforms, with listings on services like Grubhub. The restaurant's kosher certification is documented by the Orthodox Rabbinical Board.
What it means for Miami
Industry watchers see Maison Baguette as one more sign that chef-driven fast-casual and delivery-first concepts are becoming a serious strategy rather than a side hustle. The approach lets chefs push signature recipes to a wider audience without building out a full-service dining room. Nation's Restaurant News notes that this kind of setup can serve as a launchpad for future growth beyond North Bay Village. For Miami diners, it all adds up to chef-tested baguettes and a deep sandwich roster available well beyond the traditional lunch rush.
