A 17-year-old boy and a 27-year-old man were wounded in a midday shooting that shook Crown Heights on Wednesday. The gunfire erupted near Bedford Avenue and Montgomery Street just after 12:30 p.m., sending people onto the sidewalks and triggering a heavy police response.
According to News 12, the teen was shot in the arm, while the 27-year-old was hit in both the arm and abdomen. Paramedics rushed both victims to Kings County Hospital, where police said they are expected to recover. Investigators told reporters the gunman, described by officers as dressed in all black, ran westbound on Montgomery Street after opening fire.
