Multiple 911 callers reported gunfire and a possible victim, bringing deputies and emergency medical crews rushing to the scene. They found the man on the ground with gunshot wounds, but despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead there. As of now, investigators have not publicly named any suspects.

According to CBS Detroit, the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office said calls began coming in around midnight from people who heard shots and believed someone had been hit in the Golfside Road business complex. Deputies, officers from nearby agencies and EMS personnel responded and located the 23-year-old victim on the ground.
The sheriff's office said, "Despite numerous efforts to save this young man's life, he could not be revived and was pronounced deceased on scene." Investigators are now working to piece together who opened fire and why, and are leaning hard on witness accounts and any available footage.
