A Wednesday afternoon commute in Midtown turned violent when a 32-year-old woman was stabbed in the stomach on the northbound B/D/F/M platform at the 42nd Street–Bryant Park subway station, police said.
The attack happened just after 4 p.m. on the busy platform underneath Bryant Park. Emergency responders took the woman to a hospital, where she is expected to survive. According to police, a female suspect fled the scene, and officers were still trying to track her down.
