Montgomery County investigators are asking for the public’s help after an 81-year-old man was found shot to death inside a home in the 19200 block of Trails End Road in Conroe on Monday morning. Deputies responding to a call about a person found deceased discovered the victim inside and pronounced him dead at the scene, and detectives are still working to figure out exactly what happened.
Major crimes unit leads the probe
According to Woodlands Online, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes detectives and Crime Scene Investigators went to the home to process the scene and collect evidence. They were assisted by the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office and the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office. Investigators have not announced any arrests.
