A man who kept surfacing on Metro Nashville’s Weekly Most Wanted list is now in custody, with a docket full of violent felony charges waiting for him in Davidson County criminal court.
Metro Nashville police say they have arrested Jatarius M. Marable, who had been featured on the department’s weekly Most Wanted list and faced a string of violent felony charges. Officers say Marable was taken into custody earlier this month and later appeared in Davidson County criminal court. The case is another example of the MNPD using social media to crowdsource tips on fugitives.
What Authorities Say
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department Criminal Warrants Division on Facebook, Marable was apprehended on June 8. The post lists the charges and urges anyone with information to contact the department at 615-862-8600 or Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
Court Records List Multiple Violent Charges
Davidson County criminal court records show Marable, born May 19, 1996, is charged across two dockets with four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated burglary, two counts of domestic assault resulting in bodily injury and a domestic-assault count for causing fear of bodily injury, as well as evading arrest by motor vehicle. Those case pages list bonds of $55,000 and $100,000 and show he appeared for arraignment on June 15, according to Davidson County criminal court records in case 2025-A-167 and Davidson County criminal court records in case 2025-A-168.
How The Most Wanted Roster Works
The MNPD’s Criminal Warrants Division posts a Weekly Most Wanted roster on Facebook as part of an effort to locate suspects and reduce risks to officers and the community, per the Metro Nashville Police Department warrants page. Marable has appeared on the list before, and WSMV noted his name last year.
Legal Next Steps
The charges are allegations, and the cases remain pending. Prosecutors will decide whether to pursue a trial. Court dockets indicate a pretrial discussion is scheduled for Sept. 3, and attorneys have been entered in the filings.
Anyone with information is asked to call MNPD at 615-862-8600 or Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. The department posted the request on the Criminal Warrants Division Facebook page.
