Denver’s River North (RiNo) Arts District just picked up another place to crash after a show. A seven-story, 128-room AC Hotel by Marriott opened in June 2026 along Brighton Boulevard, a roughly $50 million build that wrapped after about an 18-month construction run and adds more lodging to the stretch near Coors Field and the art district.
According to Albuquerque Business First, the property was developed by DMC Holdings LLC and opened as the Marriott AC Hotel Denver RiNo at an estimated cost of about $50 million. The outlet reports the development group said the project took roughly 18 months to complete and that the team is continuing to evaluate higher-growth markets.
How the Project Came Together
As reported by BusinessDen, crews broke ground at the Brighton Boulevard site in January 2025, and the development was organized under RiNo36 LLC after the group bought the 0.43‑acre lot in February 2020 for about $4 million. BusinessDen also notes the build was financed with a roughly $34.87 million construction loan from CNB Bank of Carlsbad, N.M., and that Bristlecone Construction served as the general contractor.
Hotel Details and Where to Stay
Marriott's official property page lists the hotel at 3680 Brighton Blvd and markets it as the AC Hotel Denver RiNo. Event-listing site Cvent lists 128 guest rooms and meeting-space figures and records the property as built in 2026.
What This Means for RiNo
The opening continues a recent wave of hotel development along Brighton Boulevard, where BusinessDen counted Cambria, Vib, and The Source among nearby properties. The new AC Hotel brings more room inventory for visitors to the arts district and nearby venues, and for now, developers say the project is part of a broader push into higher-growth markets that they plan to keep evaluating, per Albuquerque Business First.
