
Nighttime gunfire rattled a North Las Vegas neighborhood Wednesday as police responded to a shooting that left at least one person injured on the 5200 block of Mountain Garland Lane, near Pecos Road. Officers were called just after 9:30 p.m., and detectives with the North Las Vegas Police Department have since taken over the scene while evidence is processed.

According to FOX5, NLVPD said the shooting happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. Responding officers found at least one person at the scene suffering from injuries. Police did not immediately release the victim's condition or say whether any suspects had been identified, FOX5 reported.
