Why Head-On Crashes Are So Deadly
Head-on collisions carry outsized risk because the closing speed of two vehicles multiplies the force of impact, creating violent crashes even when drivers are not traveling at highway speeds. Florida's annual crash reports show thousands of injury and fatal crashes across the state each year, underscoring how often severe wrecks occur on busy roads.
