A 29-year-old Wooster man was killed early today when his car collided with a semi-truck on U.S. Route 23 at the State Route 752 intersection in South Bloomfield, Pickaway County. The wreck happened before dawn and shut down northbound lanes for a time while first responders worked the scene. Authorities later identified the victim as 29-year-old William Robishaw, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to NBC4, the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office said the crash was reported at 4:35 a.m. and involved a 2025 white Nissan Rogue and a 2014 red Peterbilt semi-truck. Investigators told the station the Nissan failed to stop at the traffic signal and hit the semi's trailer, causing the smaller vehicle to slide underneath the trailer and then spin into the northbound lane.
