Antonio's Real NY Pizza, the Estes Park pizzeria that added a Longmont outpost last year, quietly slid into east Loveland on Thursday with a small purple drive-thru kiosk. The windowed stand, a former Maui Wowi smoothie shack, is now turning out New York-style slices and whole pies along with bagels, coffee and breakfast burritos. For now it is a soft opening, with limited hours and a stripped-down drive-up setup while staff gets up to speed and the systems shake out.
Loveland kiosk moves into Maui Wowi spot
As reported by Retro 102.5, the owner splashed the kiosk in purple paint and opened it near the Larimer County building at the corner of Denver Avenue and First Street. According to the station, the stand started out without call-ahead ordering and is operating Tuesday through Friday from about 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., or until the last slice is gone for the day.
Drive-thru listing and hours
As listed on Antonio's site, the Loveland outlet is a drive-thru at 116 Peridot Ave and offers bagels, espresso, slices and whole pizzas. The company bills Loveland as its third Colorado location, joining the original in Estes Park and the shop in downtown Longmont.
Menu and ordering
Local coverage describes the menu as a mix of New York-style whole pies and slices, with slices starting around 11 a.m., along with house bagels and breakfast burritos plus a lineup of coffee drinks. Customers order at a speaker, then pull forward to pick up their food, and the kiosk uses product made in Longmont that is delivered to the Loveland window, Mix 104.3 reports.
Soft opening, then scale up
Staff said the hub plans to extend hours after more training and that call-ahead ordering may be added once business picks up, Retro 102.5 reports. For now it is strictly a quick-serve drive-up instead of a dine-in hangout, and popular items may sell out on busy days.
