FDNY issues safety alert
In a post on X, the FDNY said units were operating at a three-alarm fire at 27th Avenue and Parsons Boulevard and advised that “people nearby should avoid smoke and close windows.” The department also warned that residents could expect smoke and traffic delays while crews worked to bring the blaze under control.
