
A busy Las Vegas intersection turned into a crime scene Thursday night after a man was found with a gunshot wound to the leg near North Rancho Drive and West Lake Mead Boulevard, according to police.
Officers said the victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where his injuries were described as non-life-threatening. The area remained under police control while detectives headed to the scene to sort out what happened.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire and arrived to find a man suffering from a leg wound. He was moved to an area hospital for treatment, News 3 Las Vegas reported.
According to the station, the injury was considered non-life-threatening. Police, however, did not release any information about a suspect, a possible motive, or what may have led up to the shooting, and detectives were en route to take over the investigation.
