A predawn break-in at Abel's Towing on San Antonio's Southeast Side turned violent after burglars allegedly assaulted an employee, tied the worker up and locked them inside a dog kennel before making off with thousands of dollars' worth of tools and equipment, according to the business.
What police say
Officers were dispatched to Abel's Towing at 3131 Southeast Loop 410 at about 2:50 a.m. Friday and arrived to find a damaged fence at the scene, KABB/FOX San Antonio reports. According to the station, the business said the suspects stole a welder, various tools and other equipment during the break-in and also attempted to tow away one of the company’s tractors.
