In a Facebook post, Lorain Skate World said its security camera recorded a white Honda pulling behind the building at about 8 p.m., with someone leaving the dog there before driving off. The rink urged anyone who recognizes the car, driver or passenger to contact authorities, as reported by Cleveland19. The post described the dog as "very scared" and noted that it had not been captured or taken to a shelter.

The incident took place in the rear lot of Lorain Skate World at 4952 West Erie Avenue, according to the rink's contact page on its website, Lorain Skate World. The long-running family skating center lists a phone number and email on that page for anyone with tips or information.
