
A family dispute in Silver Spring has landed a father and his adult daughter behind bars, after Montgomery County police say a June 4 stabbing inside their shared home left one person with a serious chest wound.
Detectives identified the suspects as 54-year-old William Andrew Dunn and 24-year-old Brittany Elaine Dunn. Police say the investigation into what led up to the violence is still very much active.
Arrests and charges
According to FOX 5 DC, Montgomery County police charged William and Brittany Dunn with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and related offenses following the attack.
FOX 5 DC reports that the victim was stabbed in the upper chest and that both suspects were taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit after their arrests. Officials have not released the victim's identity or given any public update on the person's condition.
