
Early Tuesday in Wilson, police responding to a shooting call at 616 Spruce Street found a 16-year-old dead inside the home with a gunshot wound. Detectives have classified the case as a homicide and say the investigation is ongoing.
Officers were dispatched in the early hours and confirmed the victim’s age at the scene, according to ABC11. Investigators are actively processing the residence as they search for leads.
