
A quiet Sunday night in north Raleigh was shattered when a man was seriously injured in a stabbing on Merriweather Circle and rushed to a hospital, authorities said.
The attack was reported around 9:15 p.m., and officers quickly flooded the neighborhood. A suspect was detained at the scene as part of what police are calling an active investigation.
