Philadelphia police are searching for a woman they believe stabbed her mother to death late Sunday outside the family's West Philadelphia rowhouse, turning a quiet block into a late-night crime scene. The victim, described by authorities as a woman in her 50s, was found on the sidewalk with multiple stab wounds and taken to Temple University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Officers were called to the 4600 block of Westminster Avenue around 11 p.m., according to FOX 29. The station reports that the suspect took off before officers arrived, and police have not released any description or identity for the woman they are looking for.
Police: Suspect Believed To Be Victim's Daughter

Investigators say the victim left her home to get help from a neighbor and was then attacked on the sidewalk. Police have not offered any possible motive, keeping key details of the case under wraps as the search continues.
