According to FOX6 News Milwaukee, officers spotted the suspect vehicle around 3:55 p.m. near 26th and Center and tried to pull it over. Instead of stopping, the driver allegedly hit the gas and a pursuit kicked off through the neighborhood.
The chase ended when the driver lost control and crashed into two unoccupied parked cars near 26th and Auer, police said. Both suspects bailed out and ran, but officers caught up with them after a brief foot pursuit. A firearm was recovered at the scene. Investigators identified the driver as a 23-year-old man and the passenger as a 20-year-old man and said criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
