Haltom City just picked up a new spot for cue sports and game-day watching. The city this week rolled out photos of Wiseguys Billiards & Sports Bar, a fresh tenant in the Western Center shopping complex that comes stocked with tournament-style pool tables, dartboards, plenty of TV screens and a full bar and kitchen. In a social media welcome, the city called Wiseguys a "new neighbor" and hinted that league nights and tournaments are in the works.
City Rolls Out the Welcome Mat
Haltom City's official Facebook page shared interior shots on Wednesday and urged residents to swing by, support local, and welcome Wiseguys, according to the Haltom City Government Facebook post. The photos show rows of pool tables and a sizable bar area that line up with the city's description.
Paperwork Shows the Bar Is Cleared to Open
Behind the scenes, Haltom City's permit archive lists a certificate of occupancy issued on Dec. 4, 2025, to Wiseguys Coalition LLC for 5000 Western Center Blvd., Suite 100. The space is categorized as a restaurant and bar, according to the city's monthly building permit report, which indicates inspections wrapped up late last year.
Leagues Already Lining Up the Boards
Local players will not have to wait for organized competition. Regional league listings already tag WiseGuys as a host venue, with the Metroplex Dart Association promoting Saturday steel-tip tournaments at the Western Center address, per the Metroplex Dart Association. An Apple Maps entry also places WiseGuys at the same location and provides a contact number.
Taking Over a Familiar Neighborhood Spot
The suite at 5000 Western Center Blvd. previously housed Dino's Live, according to local business listings, so Wiseguys appears to be stepping into an address regulars already know, per Restaurantji. The changeover adds a focused billiards and darts hub to a strip that already mixes event and retail tenants.
For now, the city's Facebook announcement is the most visible word of the opening, with permit records and league pages backing it up. We did not find mainstream press coverage as of Wednesday; taken together, the city notice, city-issued certificate of occupancy and existing league schedules point to a venue that is ready to serve both serious players and local regulars.
